Escape to our private river cottage, nestled on the banks of the picturesque North Branch Susquehanna River in Tunkhannock, PA. Enjoy the spacious backyard with private walking and boat access to the river. Surrounded by farmland and the serene sounds of flowing water, this cozy retreat is perfect for families or friends seeking adventure or relaxation. The Cottage
Belhana offers two welcoming bedrooms: the master features a queen-size bed, sky lights, tall wardrobe, closet, and sliding glass doors (with screens) that open to a spacious deck overlooking the river. While the second bedroom, includes a queen-size bed and a desk with a view of Miller Mtn at the front of the house with a desk for “office” space.
With additional sleeping arrangements located in the living room, the cottage can accommodate up to 6 adults. Luxury linens provided, more linens are available upon request. Tent / RV camping encouraged as well!

A full bathroom ensures convenience for all guests. Hook up to the bathroom bluetooth speaker for added serenity; towels and restroom essentials on hand.

Fully equipped with dishwasher, oven/stove, refrigerator, coffee bar with double Keurig (filter/k cups), utensils, cookware, plates/cups.
Outdoor Bliss
Step outside to discover your own slice of heaven at the private beach. Over 100+ feet of river frontage, ideal for kayaking, fishing, and paddle boarding. A public boat launch is just a driveway distance away, making it easy to access the water with larger boats. The backyard is great for the tent campers, pop up campers, or smaller RV’s!
Soak in the stunning river views in the new spa hot tub or rinse off in the multi-setting outdoor shower- it is absolutely refreshing!
Gather around the fire pits!
Enjoy comfortable seating with table top fire pit at the cottage. Or on the river bank with seating and picnic table. Both are perfect for morning coffee, lunch, or evening gatherings under the stars.
A direct pathway leads you to the river, where you can fish, swim, or launch one of our provided kayaks. Two adult-sized kayaks, paddles, and life vests are included, along with multiple floats for a fun day on the water.
There are useful river maps located inside Belhana at the Welcome Station and pre-planned river trips for the river floating enthusiasts! For kid-friendly floats; having Riverside Park PFBC launch within paddling distance upstream creates a nice float. The private boat dock and river access at Belhana is great for kayaks. If you are bringing your own “big” boat, the PFBC boat launch is right next door for easy trailering. Park your boats and trailers to Belhana, there is more than enough room!

The North Branch Susquehanna River is renowned for its excellent fishing opportunities, including musky, walleye, bass, and catfish.
